Kingho Investment Company Limited has on Saturday 4th September 2021, successfully donated building materials to complement the ongoing rehabilitation process of Gapefu Junior Secondary School in Blama Massaquoi Town, Galliness Chiefdom, Pujehun District, Southern Province of the Republic of Sierra Leone.

During the donation ceremony held in Blama Massaquoi Town, the Paramount Chief of Galliness Chiefdom, Madam Wokie Jonjo Massaquoi II said Gapefu Junior Secondary School is the only junior secondary school in her chiefdom and that after its collapsed in May this year, she though it fit to approach a lot of persons and organisations for support to rehabilitate it.

PC Madam Wokie said she then approached Kingho for support about a week ago after she realized that the company once operated in that part of the country. She added that as a sign that the company values the relationship with the people of her chiefdom, in two days Kingho was able to support her chiefdom. She expressed profound thanks and appreciations to the company for the show of support to not only her chiefdom but also for the government’s agenda of quality education in the country.

He said, however, “CDAP do not cover other parts of the country as per statutory requirement it is for communities 30KM around the mines and port operations.”

Abdul Malik said that the company apart from its CDAP projects, also has CSR and that based on the urgency of the proposal sent by the Paramount Chief of Galliness Chiefdom for the rehabilitation of their only Junior Secondary School, the company, through its CSR Committee immediately acted upon it with the hope of boosting the moral of education in that part of the country.

He thanked the people of Galliness Chiefdom and assured Sierra Leoneans of the company’s fullest commitment towards upholding its CSR in the country.
