A charitable and human rights organization, Demadinor Foundation Sierra Leone has on Sunday 10th October 2021, donated learning materials and one hundred thousand Leones each to over 100 school going pupils and widows, in the Hastings Community in Freetown.
The donated items comprise school bags, geometry sets, pens, pencils, exercise books and one hundred thousand Leones each to 100 school going pupils and widows.
In an exclusive interviewed with the Watch Newspaper, the Chief Executive Officer of Demadinor Foundation Sierra Leone, Mr. Mitchell Demadinor said that the donation is in support of the Free Quality Education of the President Julius Maada Bio led government, adding that this is not the first time the Demadinor Foundation is supporting pupils and widows in the country. He continued by stating that their support towards children and widows in the country is driven by their passion towards supporting the less privileged, orphans, widows and children in need. He urged the government of Sierra Leone and other humanitarian organizations to join them in supporting the vulnerable people in society; especially children and widows.
The beneficiaries described the kind gesture from Demadinor Foundation as timely. They further thanked them for supporting them with the needed educational materials that they say will go a long way in helping them attaining their academic success. They also applauded the Chief Executive Officer of Demadinor Foundation for the outright show of love and care towards them especially in reaching them at the point of their need, adding by urging other humanitarian organizations to follow the good steps of the Demadinor Foundation by putting smiles to their faces and giving out support to them.
