betPawa Makes History Again with Africa’s Biggest Aviator Winners – SLE 24.75 Million Paid Out

Freetown, Sierra Leone – At a time when global gaming is grappling with issues of trust, transparency, and transformation, betPawa has once again raised the bar in Africa’s iGaming space.

In a landmark event held in Accra, Ghana, betPawa celebrated its biggest Aviator winners to date, recognizing record-breaking players from Ghana, Cameroon, and Zambia.

The highlight of the celebration was an unprecedented Aviator round that paid out a staggering SLE 24,750,000 (equivalent to USD 1,107,573)—the largest group win in a single Aviator round in Africa’s history. With betPawa offering the lowest minimum stakes and the highest maximum wins—up to SLE 5.5 million per round—the game continues to transform lives across the continent.

According to Spribe, the creators of Aviator:
“Our analytics confirm that this is the largest group win in a single round to date in Africa.”

Among the most celebrated winners was Clovis from Cameroon, who placed two micro-bets of just 150 FCFA (USD 0.26) and 100 FCFA (USD 0.17), walking away with a total payout of 150 million FCFA (USD 270,000). His winning multipliers of 500,000x and 750,000x are among the highest ever recorded on the continent.

Also from Cameroon, Godi and Hyacinte each turned a 100 FCFA (USD 0.17) bet into 75 million FCFA (USD 135,000). Jules placed two identical 100 FCFA bets and walked away with over 86 million FCFA (USD 155,010) at a 430,584.98x multiplier.

Carlos doubled his 200 FCFA bets into 32.7 million FCFA (USD 58,947), while Mathieu flipped a mere 125 FCFA (USD 0.22) into 14.1 million FCFA (USD 25,431)—proof that small bets on betPawa can yield massive returns.

From Ghana, Prince of Kumasi staked GH¢6.50 (USD 0.62) and won GH¢2 million (USD 193,079) with a 307,692.31x multiplier.

In Zambia, Sidney placed a modest K6 (USD 0.25) and pocketed K3.25 million (USD 136,110) at a 500,000x multiplier.

Meanwhile, BIG wins continue to pour in from across Africa. In Uganda, a player hit UGX 450 million (USD 121,500) with a 2,250x multiplier. In Malawi, one player turned MWK 481 (USD 0.28) into over USD 124,000. Another flipped MWK 5,520 (USD 3.19) into six figures, while someone else won USD 53,000 from a mere MWK 161 (USD 0.09).

This historic payout adds to betPawa’s growing legacy. In 2023, Fuseini from Kumasi, Ghana made headlines after winning SLE 11.3 billion (USD 500,000) on Aviator—a single payout that remains the largest ever recorded on the platform.

“This is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do,” said Borah Ndanyungu, Head of Local Marketing and CSR at betPawa. “We love BIG winners. In fact, we’re built for them. Our platform is designed with the lowest minimum stakes and the highest max win—up to USD 250,000—on Aviator in Africa. And that’s not changing.”

Beyond cash prizes, betPawa rolled out the red carpet. From chauffeured rides and luxury hotel stays to personalized gifts and business-class flights, winners were treated to a VIP experience—capped off with a once-in-a-lifetime private jet tour over Ghana.

But the celebration wasn’t just about glamour. In partnership with the Gaming Commission of Ghana and professional financial advisors, betPawa has launched a financial empowerment program aimed at helping winners make their windfalls last. The initiative focuses on financial literacy, smart investments, and long-term planning.

“BIG wins come with BIG responsibilities,” Ndanyungu added. “We take player safety seriously. That’s why our platform is built with smart tools and educational content that promote responsible gaming. We want everyone to enjoy the game and stay in control.
