Freetown – A driver, Amadu Conteh, and an operator, David Bangura, on Wednesday, 20th August 2025, appeared before Magistrate Adama Kandeh of Pademba Road Magistrate Court No. 4 on one count of Conspiracy to Commit a Felony, contrary to law.
According to the charge sheet, the accused on 4th August 2025, at Regent Road, Lumley, Freetown, allegedly conspired to steal one roll of electric cable valued at Le14,000, the property of Binta Bah.
When the charge was read and explained, both accused persons pleaded not guilty.
State Prosecutor Sergeant 10261 Kargbo K. applied for a short adjournment, noting that the complainant was absent from court.
Magistrate Kandeh, citing the absence of the complainant, ordered that the two accused be remanded at the Male Correctional Centre in Freetown.
The matter was adjourned to 28th August 2025 for further proceedings.
