Sierra Leone Cycling duo, Ibrahim S. Jalloh and Mustapha Koroma have today, Wednesday, commenced trainings at the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome centre in Glasgow, Scotland.
The duo arrived in Glasgow on Monday night from the United Arab Emerate (UAE), and immediately went through their accreditation process and later, their bike inspection on Tuesday before securing their training schedule.
Jalloh and Koroma, both based in Dubai, UAE, are in high hopes to fly the country’s flag in Scotland. “We are here to compete and face the challenge, we are determined, and we will do our best to make our nation and Sierra Leoneans proud,” Jalloh said.
They rallied fans back home under the powerful national team banner: “One Country, One Spirit, One Goal.”
Both Jalloh and Koroma will compete in the Men’s 4000m Individual pursuit and the Men’s Sprint.
