Freetown, Sierra Leone, Alusine Kamara a 29 years old electrician, Morlai Mansaray a 23 years old unemployed and George Kamara has been sentenced by Magistrate John Manso Fornah at Pademba Road Court No.2 in freetown on Monday, 27th July, 2026, on two count charges of Conspiracy to Commit a felony contrary to law and and Larceny- Contrary to section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916.
According to the police charge sheet that all defendants on Sunday, 12th July, 2026, at Hamilton Street, Grassfield Kissy, freetwon, in the western area of the Republic of Sierra Leone, conspired together with other unknown persons to cimmit a felony to wit larceny.
Count two furthered that all defendants on the same date and place above, did steal one Tigi Max Generator valued six thousand leones (6,000) property of Amadu Bangura.
When the xahrges were read and explained to the defendants, they pleaded guilty as charged.
The prosecutor Police Constable 18235 Thoronka K stated that all convicts were first time offenders.
The convicts pleaded with the bench to tanper justice with marcy on their behalf and that they will not involved themselves in such act again.
Meanwhile, magistrate Fornah revealed that having heard from the prosecutor that all convicts were first time offenders and also having heard from all three cinvicts who pleaded for mercy and taking into consideration that they had permanently deprived the complainant of his generator.
Therefore, he hereby sentenced them on count one to a term of six months imprisonment to be served in full and on count two to serve a term of eighteen months imprisonment or restore the stolen generator to the complainant.
Magistsrate Fornah ordered that the sentences to be served in full
