Africell’s Staff Fully Vaccinated

The leading telecommunication company operating in Sierra Leone, Africell Mobile Company has on Friday 8th April 2022, at its headquarter situated at Wilberforce in Freetown, brimmed with joy in celebrating a landmark achievement in getting their staff fully vaccinated against the deadly corona virus.

The Managing Director of Africell congratulates staff of Africell for attaining 100% vaccination against the fatal corona virus. He says being vaccinated would go a long way in protecting their family, their customers against the corona virus. He calls on other companies to emulate the good steps of Africell in the fight against the corona virus by encouraging their staff to take full dose of the vaccination. He notes that when they first started the vaccination process, many staff were afraid of being vaccinated but with full encouragement from management their staff saw the need to take the vaccine. He says that he is delighted that staff of Africell have fully complied with the vaccination exercise.

“Thankfully everyone today is celebrating the completion of the vaccination exercise,” he noted, adding by thanking the Ministry of Health for the support. He assures that Africell will continue to support the Ministry of Health.

The Master of Ceremony, Mr. John Konteh who is the current Media Manager of Africell, applauded the management of Africell Mobile Company for protecting their staff against the deadly corona virus. He adds that Africell Mobile Company has demonstrated to the whole world that it is in compliance with state policies and regulations. Mr. Konteh notes that the fight against the deadly corona virus requires concerted efforts by all, adding by stating that Africell believes in providing the needed support to state institutions and policies. He indicates that the fight against the deadly corona virus would only be won when institutions that are operating in the country take proactive steps in eradicating it.

“Africell will continue to set the pace for others to follow,” he lauds, adding that staff of every department has been fully vaccinated. He adds that it is no secret that the management of Africell is passionate about the wellbeing of its staff. He says that this is a target that was set out by management to accomplish, adding by stating that they are excited for such a success.

Madam Patricia commends the Managing Director for supporting the process through motivation and other means. She also thanked staff for adhering to management policies and regulations.

Mr. Andrew, the Director of Human Resource, also lauds staff of Africell for supporting the process by receiving their vaccinations.
